This month has been filled with excitement and community spirit at Conway Healthcare and Rehab Center in Conway, Arkansas. We were delighted to welcome students from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) as part of The Big Event, a day dedicated to community service and engagement.
Our residents had a wonderful time painting flower pots, each adding their unique touch of creativity and color. After the painting session, they had the joy of choosing which plants to place inside their beautifully decorated pots. This activity not only brightened our space but also brought a sense of accomplishment and joy to everyone involved.
In addition to the artistic fun, some of the UCA students rolled up their sleeves and helped prepare our outdoor space for the upcoming spring growth. Their hard work and dedication have set the stage for a vibrant and flourishing garden that our residents will enjoy throughout the season.
The day was capped off with a lively game of bingo, a favorite pastime at Conway Healthcare and Rehab Center. The friendly competition and shared laughter made for a perfect ending to a day filled with connection and community.
We are incredibly grateful to the UCA students for their time, effort, and enthusiasm. Their visit has left a lasting impact on our residents and has helped us kick off the spring season with positivity and excitement.
